Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Shielding and Criticality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MCNP calculations and document them in formal calculation packages
Conduct radiation shielding calculations for gammas and neutrons
Work effectively in a remote environment while adhering to regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ years
Strong skills in MCNP and familiarity with variance reduction techniques
Experience in criticality safety and knowledge of ADVANTG is a plus
Experience working under NQA-1 quality programs is desirable
Strong computational expertise and programming skills, preferably in Python
