Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Shielding and Criticality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MCNP calculations and document them in calculation packages
• Conduct radiation shielding calculations for gammas and neutrons
• Work effectively in a remote environment while adhering to regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications and Education

• B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with 6+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ years
• Strong MCNP skills and experience in radiation shielding calculations
• Familiarity with variance reduction techniques and MCNP features
• Experience working under NQA-1 quality programs is desirable
• Knowledge or motivation to learn basic nuclear reactor design concepts
