Nuclear Engineer II

Job Summary

Supporting the design and safety analysis of innovative nuclear technology, the remote Nuclear Engineer II, Core Design will execute calculations and analyses related to core design, shielding, and criticality control while collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute design and analysis activities adhering to engineering principles and business standards
• Ensure thorough documentation and facilitate internal and external design reviews in accordance with design control procedures
• Influence the development of strategies and technical tools for core design and safety analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering or a related technical discipline
• 3-5 years of engineering experience
• Working-level knowledge in reactor core design and analysis or radiation shielding design
• Experience in nuclear fuel analysis and criticality safety
• Familiarity with nuclear analysis software development and validation
