Nuclear Engineering Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Consultant 2 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support small and large controls projects, focusing on technical execution and project management
• Prepare control system functional requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems
• Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project execution, compliance, and satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 10 or more years of experience in I&C Design Engineering, with at least 5 years at a nuclear facility
• PE license is preferred
• Experience serving as a client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
• Technically knowledgeable of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems for systems design
