Job Summary
Leading and supporting projects focused on upgrading and modernizing nuclear power plants, the full-time salaried Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Consultant 2 will manage technical execution, coordinate with various disciplines, and ensure client satisfaction through effective project management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital systems design, including PLC, DCS, and networked computer systems
- Prepare control system functional requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plant control systems
- Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project execution, compliance, and satisfaction
Required qualifications
- A BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10 or more years of experience in I&C Design Engineering, with at least 5 years at a nuclear facility
- PE license is preferred
- Experience in reviewing design documentation and serving as a client liaison
- Technical knowledge of available equipment and pre-engineered systems for executing systems design
