Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of nuclear power plant engineering programs, the contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will create associated procedures and coordinate with engineers on advanced reactor projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Review and coordinate the development of supporting plant procedures with a geographically diverse design team
• Provide inputs on plant and system level requirements, specifications, and strategy documents related to operations and maintenance activities

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• 5+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering design (preferred)
• Knowledge of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
