Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of nuclear power plant engineering programs, the contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will create associated procedures and coordinate with engineers on advanced nuclear reactor projects in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Review and coordinate the development of supporting plant procedures with a geographically diverse design team
• Provide inputs on plant and system level requirements related to operations and maintenance activities throughout the lifecycle of a nuclear facility

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience in developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent; Shift Technical Advisor qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
