Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of nuclear power plant engineering programs, the contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will create associated procedures and coordinate with a diverse team of engineers on advanced reactor projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents and review procedures to support long-term nuclear power plant operations
• Provide inputs on plant-level requirements and specifications related to operations and maintenance activities
• Support design reviews and resolve technical concerns as a Subject Matter Expert in assigned engineering program areas

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience in developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent; Shift Technical Advisor qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
