Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of nuclear power plant engineering programs, the contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will create associated procedures and provide inputs on operational requirements while working remotely with a diverse team of engineers and scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents and procedures to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Coordinate with a geographically diverse design team to review and develop supporting plant procedures
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert during design reviews and support cross-functional technical concerns

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
• Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent preferred
