Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of engineering programs for advanced nuclear reactor projects, the contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will work remotely, creating procedures and coordinating with a diverse design team to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Review and coordinate procedures with a geographically diverse design team
• Provide inputs on requirements, specifications, and strategy documents related to plant operations and maintenance

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent; Shift Technical Advisor qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
