Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will focus on developing engineering programs and associated procedures for advanced nuclear reactor projects, requiring 7+ years of experience in commercial nuclear engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Coordinate with a geographically diverse design team to create and review plant procedures
• Provide inputs on plant and system level requirements related to operations and maintenance activities

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and plant work control processes
