Nuclear Engineering Program Developer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of nuclear power plant engineering programs, the remote contract Nuclear Engineering Program Developer will create associated procedures and collaborate with engineers on advanced nuclear reactor projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents to support the long-term operation of nuclear power plants
• Coordinate with a geographically diverse design team to develop and review plant procedures
• Provide inputs on requirements, specifications, and strategy documents related to plant operations and maintenance

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline
• 7+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear engineering programs
• Experience developing nuclear plant engineering programs and procedures
• Knowledge of licensing basis criteria for nuclear work control and engineering programs
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and industry documents
