Job Summary
The full-time Nuclear Fuel Engineer will contribute to BWR fuel reload licensing and cycle management while collaborating with a team of engineers to provide innovative design solutions and ensure high-quality deliverables in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply analytical methods to solve complex problems and execute design calculations for reactor core management
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers while maintaining project schedules and costs
- Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers and customer technical personnel to manage reload projects effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or another science field from an accredited university
- Experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology
- Familiarity with BWR core simulators and 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics codes
- Programming experience with Python or C#
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
