Nuclear Human Factors Engineer

Job Summary

To pioneer clean, advanced energy solutions, the contract Nuclear Human Factors Engineer IV will work remotely to design next-generation plant interfaces, translating complex operational requirements into intuitive displays and controls while ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex operational requirements into intuitive displays, controls, software, and hardware for monitoring and protection across plant systems
• Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using plant simulators and operating procedures
• Support the creation of operating procedures and operator training programs while participating in design reviews and corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in nuclear human factors engineering
• Proficiency in testing and validation of human-system interfaces
• Familiarity with nuclear regulatory and quality standards
• Experience in delivering engineering design definitions and licensing documentation
