Nuclear Licensing Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing Engineering Consultant 2 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications for permits and licenses for new reactor power plants and related facilities
• Coordinate the development of license amendment requests and safety evaluations
• Interpret NRC regulations and guidance related to licensing and license renewal

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 10 or more years of experience in the nuclear power industry, including license renewal experience
• Working knowledge of NRC regulations and guidance applicable to licensing
• PE license is beneficial
