Job Summary
To support the establishment of a new training department, the contract Nuclear Maintenance & Training Developer will develop and implement Maintenance & Technical training programs and materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while working remotely in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute training processes, programs, and procedures for Maintenance & Technical training, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Revise training programs to maintain accuracy based on plant design changes and regulatory updates, while preparing examination materials and evaluations for various training environments
- Coordinate with management and other organizations to enhance training programs and participate in audits, documenting training activities and maintaining auditable records
Required qualifications
- 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or military nuclear experience of 4 years or more
- Mastery of skills in analyzing, designing, and implementing Maintenance & Technical training programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in training and instruction on nuclear plant mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, turbines, and heat exchangers
- Ability to develop hands-on training exercises and assess mechanical technicians for qualification standards
