Nuclear Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

To support the integrated design and operational readiness of an advanced nuclear power plant, the contract Maintenance Integration Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure plant systems facilitate safe and efficient maintenance throughout the plant lifecycle, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate nuclear operations and maintenance requirements into plant design
• Evaluate system and equipment designs for maintainability and operational readiness
• Develop and review nuclear plant operations and maintenance procedures

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in Nuclear, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline
• Five or more years of direct Naval or commercial nuclear plant operations and/or maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulations and maintenance activities
• Experience developing or approving nuclear operations and maintenance procedures preferred
• Familiarity with risk-informed methodologies preferred
