Job Summary
To develop and implement comprehensive training programs, the contract Nuclear Maintenance Trainer will work remotely to create Maintenance & Technical training processes and materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and integrating feedback from various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement Maintenance & Technical training processes, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Create and revise high-quality training curricula for maintenance personnel based on plant design changes and regulatory updates
- Prepare trainee evaluation materials and participate in audits, ensuring adherence to training program standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or 4 years of military nuclear experience
- Extensive knowledge in developing and modifying Maintenance & Technical training programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in training and instruction on nuclear plant mechanical systems
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills with a focus on training excellence
