Nuclear Maintenance Trainer

Job Summary

To support the establishment of a new training department, the contract Nuclear Maintenance & Training Developer will develop and implement Maintenance & Technical training programs and materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Maintenance & Technical training processes, programs, and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Create high-quality training curriculum for maintenance and technical personnel using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
• Coordinate with various departments to enhance training programs and prepare trainee evaluations and examination materials

Required qualifications

• 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or 4 years of military nuclear experience
• Extensive knowledge in analyzing, designing, developing, and evaluating Maintenance & Technical training programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in training and instruction on nuclear plant mechanical systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop hands-on training exercises and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures
