Job Summary
To develop and implement comprehensive training programs, the contract Nuclear Maintenance Trainer will work remotely to create Maintenance & Technical (M&T) training processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and integrating with various departments and organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute training programs and procedures for M&T, ensuring adherence to NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Create high-quality training curriculum and revise existing programs based on changes in plant design and procedures
- Prepare trainee evaluations and maintain auditable training records while participating in audits and responding to findings
Required qualifications
- 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or 4 years of military nuclear experience
- Extensive knowledge in developing and evaluating M&T training programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in training and instruction on nuclear plant mechanical systems
- Ability to adapt to changes in plant design and operational requirements
