Nuclear Maintenance Trainer

Job Summary

To develop Maintenance & Technical training programs, the contract Nuclear Maintenance & Training Developer will work remotely to create training materials, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with various departments while focusing on high-quality curriculum development for mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement M&T training processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Create and revise training curriculum using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) while integrating feedback from various audits and reports
• Coordinate with management and other organizations to enhance training programs and prepare trainee evaluations

Required qualifications

• 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or 4 years of military nuclear experience
• Extensive knowledge in designing and evaluating M&T training programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in training and instruction on nuclear plant mechanical systems
• Ability to adapt to changes in plant design and procedures while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory compliance
