Job Summary
To support the establishment of a new training department, the remote Nuclear Mechanical Instructor will develop and implement maintenance and technical training programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute training processes and procedures that comply with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Design and conduct hands-on training exercises for mechanical systems, ensuring instructional and technical accuracy
- Prepare trainee evaluations and maintain auditable training records to document program activities
Required qualifications
- 2 years of commercial power plant experience in a nuclear mechanical maintenance discipline or 4 years of military nuclear experience
- Mastery of skills in the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of maintenance and technical training programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt to changes in plant design and procedures
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
