Nuclear Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Engineer to support the development of operational programs for advanced reactors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ConOps in coordination with system owners and designers for system operation, monitoring, and maintenance
• Ensure timely development of operations programs and procedures for safe and effective plant operations
• Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to align operations strategies with design intent and regulatory expectations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Experience in developing or managing operations programs in a nuclear or regulated environment
• Familiarity with operational program frameworks such as INPO/NEI guidance or NRC regulatory expectations
• Experience with configuration management, procedure development, or licensing documentation is a plus
