Job Summary
To support a newly developed training department, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Material Developer will create and refine training programs and materials for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develops operator training processes, programs, and procedures compliant with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Creates high-quality training curriculum using the Systematic-Approach-to-Training and revises programs based on plant design changes
- Coordinates with various departments and prepares trainee evaluation materials for classroom and simulator environments
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in science or engineering
- 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
- 2 years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
- Previous SRO/RO license holder or 4+ years of experience with SRO-certification
- Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
