Job Summary
Focusing on the development of operations training programs and materials, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Material Developer will create processes and procedures for licensed and non-licensed operator training in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develops operator training processes and programs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Creates and executes strategies for training program accreditation and revises training materials based on plant changes
- Coordinates with various departments to enhance training programs and prepares evaluations for trainees
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in science or engineering
- 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
- 2 years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
- Previous SRO/RO license holder or 4+ years of experience with SRO-certification
- Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
