Nuclear Operations Trainer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of operations training programs and materials, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Material Developer will create processes and procedures for licensed and non-licensed operator training in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develops operator training processes and programs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Creates and executes strategies for training program accreditation and revises training materials based on plant changes
• Coordinates with various departments to enhance training programs and prepares evaluations for trainees

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• 2 years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or 4+ years of experience with SRO-certification
• Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
