Nuclear Operations Training Developer

Job Summary

Focused on developing operations training programs and materials for a reactor demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Developer will work remotely to create compliant training processes and curricula for licensed and non-licensed operators while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and revises operator training programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation criteria
• Prepares trainee examination materials and evaluations for various training environments, including classroom and simulator settings
• Coordinates with operations management and other organizations to enhance training programs and maintain auditable training records

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• Four years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• Two years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or four or more years of experience with SRO certification
• Mastery of skills and extensive knowledge related to licensed operator training programs
