Nuclear Operations Training Developer

Job Summary

To support a reactor demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Developer will develop operations training programs and materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops operator training processes, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
• Creates high-quality training curriculum for licensed and non-licensed operators using the Systematic-Approach-to-Training
• Prepares trainee examination materials and evaluations, and coordinates with various organizations to improve training programs

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• 2 years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or 4+ years of experience with SRO-certification
• Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
