Job Summary
To support a reactor demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Developer will develop training programs and materials for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develops training processes, programs, and procedures for operator training, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
- Creates high-quality training curriculum using the Systematic-Approach-to-Training and revises programs based on plant design changes and regulatory updates
- Coordinates with various departments and organizations to improve training programs and prepares evaluation materials for trainees
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in science or engineering
- Four years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
- Two years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
- Previous SRO/RO license holder or four or more years of experience with an SRO-certification
- Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
