Nuclear Operations Training Developer

Job Summary

To support a reactor demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Developer will develop training programs and materials for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops training processes, programs, and procedures for operator training, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
• Creates high-quality training curriculum using the Systematic-Approach-to-Training and revises programs based on plant design changes and regulatory updates
• Coordinates with various departments and organizations to improve training programs and prepares evaluation materials for trainees

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• Four years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• Two years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or four or more years of experience with an SRO-certification
• Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs
