Nuclear Operations Training Developer

Job Summary

To support a reactor demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Material Developer will develop and implement training programs and materials for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops operator training processes and programs, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
• Creates high-quality training curriculum using the Systematic Approach to Training and revises programs based on plant design changes
• Coordinates with various departments and organizations to enhance training programs and prepares trainee evaluations and examination materials

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• Four years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• Two years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or four years of SRO-certification experience
• Mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge related to licensed operator training programs
