Nuclear Operations Training Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of operations training programs, the contract Nuclear Operations Training Developer will create training materials and processes for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and revises operator training programs and procedures to meet compliance with NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria
• Coordinates with various departments and organizations to enhance training programs and prepares trainee evaluation materials
• Participates in audits and maintains auditable training records while assisting in budget planning for training activities

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering
• Four years of commercial nuclear power plant operator training experience
• Two years of experience as a simulator instructor or equivalent
• Previous SRO/RO license holder or four+ years of experience with SRO-certification
• Mastery of skills related to licensed operator training programs and knowledge of plant simulation software
