Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Plant Integration Engineer for a fully remote, long-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members to develop nuclear island plant integration deliverables focused on design engineering, licensing, and configuration management
• Provides support for activities led by other plant design departments, including licensing, safety analysis, and PRA
• Develops plant level integration design deliverables in collaboration with plant design departments

Required Qualifications and Education

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in nuclear facility design or operation
• BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline (nuclear, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering) or a Senior Reactor Operators license or equivalent
• Working understanding of NRC regulations and associated guidance; prior interaction with NRC staff is desirable
• Experience working to quality standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and demonstrate leadership skills in cross-functional collaboration
