Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer will coordinate the development and management of test abstracts and specifications for an Advanced Reactor Demonstration project, ensuring timely and accurate documentation while training engineering personnel and liaising between design groups and the Commissioning/Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as the liaison between reactor/plant design groups and the Commissioning/Operations team
• Coordinates the creation of test abstracts and specifications to support commissioning/startup operations
• Develops and trains system design engineers on authoring test documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in hardware testing or reactor/reactor plant testing
• Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test documentation
• Experience with design engineering and systems engineering
• Understanding of startup test programs and requisite procedures
