Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Advanced Reactor Demonstration project, the contract Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer will coordinate the development and management of test abstracts and specifications while working remotely, ensuring timely documentation and training engineering personnel on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as the liaison between reactor/plant design groups and the Commissioning/Operations team
• Coordinates the creation of test abstracts and specifications to support commissioning/startup operations
• Develops and trains system design engineers on authoring test documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in hardware or reactor plant testing
• Proficiency in writing test documentation such as abstracts and specifications
• Experience with design engineering and systems engineering
• Understanding of startup test programs and necessary inputs for test plans
