Nuclear Power Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Nuclear Power Systems Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on the design, modernization, and modification of complex nuclear power plant systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate operational and nuclear safety requirements into system and subsystem requirements
• Develop and review engineering documentation, including design specifications and interface requirements
• Evaluate proposed changes and support the development of engineering change packages and plant design modifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of nuclear power design engineering or related experience
• Experience with GE-designed Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) systems and instrumentation and controls
• Strong understanding of BWR plant architecture and system interactions
• Proven experience in requirements decomposition, allocation, and engineering documentation
