Nuclear QA Project Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting company and client projects, the remote Nuclear QA Project Engineer will manage quality assurance planning, coordination, and execution while serving as a central point of contact for stakeholders and developing quality requirements traceability matrices.
Key responsibilities
- Represent quality assurance in project planning and execution related to nuclear QA
- Develop and maintain quality requirements traceability matrices and manage first-of-a-kind issues
- Proactively identify project challenges and coordinate cross-functional quality activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a technical field from an accredited college or university
- At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance with leadership on large projects
- Familiarity with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR 21
- Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
- Experience with ISO 9001 and international quality standards is a plus
