Job Summary
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of a Quality Assurance Program, the remote Quality Assurance Engineer will manage compliance with nuclear industry standards, oversee software quality assurance activities, and ensure that all engineering and manufacturing processes meet safety and reliability requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation and records to ensure compliance with ASME NQA-1 and other requirements
- Support and track Software Quality Assurance activities, including verification and validation, testing, and configuration management
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, identifying and controlling nonconforming products and documenting corrective actions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 7 years of QA experience in the nuclear industry, preferably in manufacturing or metals processing
- Advanced knowledge of Software Quality Assurance processes in a nuclear environment
- Demonstrated working knowledge of nuclear requirements, including ASME NQA-1
- Experience conducting or supporting audits and assessments
