Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Safety Analysis Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a safety analysis plan and perform independent engineering design studies
• Interface with engineering services suppliers and customers to achieve project outcomes
• Provide technical and project leadership in areas of expertise and support other functions as needed

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Nuclear Engineering or closely related field with relevant experience
• Expertise in accident analysis of commercial LWRs and two-phase flow fundamentals
• Substantial experience in fuel vendor or utility engineering focused on reload safety analysis
• Proficiency with reactor safety codes such as RETRAN, RELAP5, and TRAC
• Programming skills (e.g., C++, Python) and familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
