Job Summary
Leading a variety of projects, the full-time remote Lead Nuclear Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer will perform safety analyses for BWRX-300 applications, including thermal-hydraulic evaluations and transient analyses, while collaborating with a high-performing engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead technical evaluations and analyses related to Anticipated Operational Occurrences and reactor heat balance
- Perform thermal hydraulic evaluations in areas such as containment and stability analysis
- Prepare and present technical reports and solutions to internal and external customers
Required qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
- At least 5 years of relevant nuclear experience
- Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
- Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements
- Programming experience in languages such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
