Nuclear Safety Case SME

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Safety Case Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the resolution of safety concerns related to advanced heat exchangers and system interactions
• Apply Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) knowledge to system and heat exchanger design
• Lead deterministic hazard evaluations and assist in licensing documentation preparation

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline from an accredited university
• 16+ years of direct experience in nuclear systems design
• Expertise in supporting advanced reactor development through LMP and PRA
• Knowledge of sodium and/or salt system and component designs is highly desired
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts with minimal direction
