Nuclear Security Programs Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Programs Specialist - Access Authorization / Fitness for Duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead subject matter expert for Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty programs, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Develop and implement program roadmaps across various operational phases and provide mentorship to program leadership
• Assist with security program audits, regulatory compliance activities, and support NRC inspections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of nuclear security experience, or 20+ years of relevant experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
• Experience implementing 10 CFR regulations and NEI guidance at operating nuclear facilities
• Proven experience interfacing with the NRC during inspections and regulatory follow-up
• Strong experience in program governance, regulatory compliance, and nuclear security program implementation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and records management systems
