Nuclear System Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design of nuclear and industrial mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, the contract RAC System Engineer (Process & I&C) will work remotely, focusing on requirements definition, system architecture, and multidisciplinary engineering collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design nuclear and industrial systems, including requirements definition and system drawings
• Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage technical interfaces with suppliers and support I&C verification and validation activities

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of relevant experience for Level 10 or 10+ years for Level 11
• Demonstrated experience in developing complex structures and multi-discipline integration
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles in nuclear or complex industrial applications
• Previous experience with commercial nuclear reactors or high-temperature pressure vessels is highly desired
