Job Summary
A company is looking for a Nuclear Thermal Hydraulic Analyst to support methodology development and analysis for nuclear reactor programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct computational analysis of in-core steady-state thermal hydraulic phenomena
- Perform code benchmarking and validation analyses to support code qualification and methodology development
- Integrate with engineering groups for component, system, and thermal-hydraulic testing analysis
Required Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 2+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree
- 6 years of experience in Nuclear Systems Thermal-Hydraulic behavior and analyses
- Demonstrated knowledge in nuclear reactor core subchannel analysis
- Experience with low Prandtl number heat transfer analysis is a strong plus
