Nuclear Ventilation Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support the ongoing design and delivery of a Reactor Air Cooling System, the contract RAC Component Design Engineer (Ventilation) will work remotely, focusing on designing nuclear ventilation components, conducting engineering calculations, and preparing technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design nuclear and industrial ventilation components from requirements definition through final design
• Conduct engineering work in accordance with nuclear ventilation codes and standards
• Prepare engineering change packages, including calculations, design reports, and specifications

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university
• 4+ years of relevant experience for Level 9 or 6+ years for Level 10
• Experience in developing ASME AG-1 ventilation systems
• Experience in preparing design and procurement specifications
• Experience working to quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
