Job Summary

Supporting the safe and effective prescribing function for MedExpress' Canadian expansion, the fully remote hourly Nurse Practitioner - Canada will review patient consultations, prescribe medications in accordance with clinical protocols, and collaborate with fellow prescribers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess asynchronous patient consultations through the MedExpress platform
• Prescribe medications safely and appropriately, focusing on GLP-1 and ED treatments
• Communicate directly with patients to address medical queries via chat, phone, or video consultation

Required qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• At least 3 years of active medical practice experience
• Experience with remote or digital prescribing
• Active Nurse Practitioner registration in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario
• Professional insurance that includes coverage for asynchronous prescribing
