Job Summary
Supporting the Eastern Time Zone, the full-time remote Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology will manage complex cardiac patients, focusing on heart failure management and Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via telehealth visits to evaluate cardiovascular health and identify cardiac conditions
- Formulate differential diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests
- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions with an emphasis on heart failure, monitoring patient progress and adjusting care pathways as needed
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in cardiology or related advanced practice nursing field
- 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient cardiology setting
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, preferably in a Compact State
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification specific to cardiology from a recognized certifying body
- Proficiency in outpatient management and interpreting complex diagnostic tests, including ECGs and echocardiograms
