Job Summary
To support a growing virtual clinic, the full-time Nurse Practitioner - CST Licensed will deliver high-quality cardiovascular care remotely, managing complex cardiac patients, focusing on heart failure management and Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT), while collaborating with healthcare teams during Central Time Zone hours.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via telehealth, including medical history reviews and diagnostic tests
- Formulate differential diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans for various cardiac conditions
- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions with a focus on heart failure, adjusting care pathways based on patient progress
Required qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in cardiology or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient cardiology setting
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, preferably in a Compact State
- Nurse Practitioner certification specific to cardiology from a recognized certifying body
- Proven expertise in Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) application and optimization
