Nurse Practitioner GLP-1 Prescriber

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Nurse Practitioner GLP-1 Prescriber will conduct clinical evaluations, prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications for weight management patients, and collaborate with a registered dietitian team, all while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
• Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications under independent prescriptive authority
• Manage follow-up visits, dose titration, and lab reviews through synchronous and asynchronous methods

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and current ANCC or AANP board certification
• Active licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states, with a preference for full independent practice and prescriptive authority states
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience managing obesity or related conditions
• Comfort with remote clinical practice and proficiency in EHR platforms
• Active NPI and professional liability/malpractice insurance covering telehealth encounters
