Nurse Practitioner - Obesity Management

Job Summary

To support a growing interdisciplinary medical weight loss team, the full-time Nurse Practitioner - Obesity Management will diagnose, treat, and manage obesity as a chronic disease through virtual primary care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while working remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive virtual medical weight loss care including patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient management and care coordination
• Engage patients in shared decision-making and provide culturally responsive, patient-centered counseling

Required qualifications

• Active, unencumbered NP, APRN license in good standing with eligibility to practice in designated states
• Board certification in Family or Adult by a recognized certifying body (ANCC/AANP)
• Minimum of 5 years' clinical experience with at least 1 year in obesity medicine and telemedicine each
• Multi-state licensure, actively holding 7+ state licenses with valid prescriptive authority
• Commitment to health equity and providing culturally relevant care
