Nursing Faculty with Multistate License

Job Summary

To provide engaging instruction in nursing, the part-time Nursing Faculty with Multistate License will teach undergraduate and graduate courses remotely, communicate with students, and facilitate discussions while maintaining academic rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses and conduct live lectures during specified evening and weekend hours
• Engage with students through timely communication, feedback on submissions, and outreach to those struggling in the course
• Serve as a subject matter expert to assist with curriculum maintenance and participate in faculty development opportunities

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program for undergraduate courses or a terminal degree for graduate courses
• Active, unencumbered multistate nursing licensure
• Experience teaching in an online environment at the college/university level
• Preferred certification in nursing education and experience with Blackboard learning management system
• Ability to provide own equipment, including a computer, camera, and secure internet access
