Nursing Simulation Technician
Job Summary
Assisting in the day-to-day operation of a high-fidelity simulation environment, the full-time Nursing Simulation Technician will provide technical support for simulation operations, including the preparation, maintenance, and repair of computerized manikins and multimedia peripherals, while working onsite at Longwood University's campus in Farmville, Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the technical aspects of simulation operations, ensuring all equipment is prepared and maintained for nursing practice
- Provide support for software and hardware related to computerized manikins and task trainers
- Develop and maintain databases to support simulation activities and operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer/Technology or a healthcare-related field preferred
- Substantial experience in computer/information technology or the medical field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and presentation software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
